JOHN EDWARD HAWKINS "Big Hawk" Sunrise November 15, 1969 Houston, Texas Sundown May 1, 2006 Houston, Texas On Tuesday, the 9th day of May 2006, at 11 AM John's family will celebrate his Life. Their extended family and friends are welcome to join them. Today, Monday, May 8th, John will be resting in the Rose Chapel from 11 AM until 8 PM. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 6 PM. Both services will be held at Mabrie Memorial Mortuary. John will be laid to rest at Paradise South Cemetery. The loving family of John, wife, Mesha Hawkins and their sons, Tahji and Koran; his mother, Louella Hawkins and father, Paul H. Moore (Sharon); his sisters, Paula H. Hawkins- Roberts (Eugene) and Tina L. Hawkins; his grandmother, Rose Fleming; his niece and nephew, Farren and Patrick; and his mother in law, Delano D. Jennings (Bill) wish to thank the entire Houston Community and surrounding cities for their love and support. In addition to his immediate family he leaves to cherish his memory many other relatives and dear friends.

To the Hawkins brothers:
Words cant express how much yall remind me of me and my brother, yall mean alot and touched plenty of hearts not from records but from personal talks. Thank yall for being so real. Yall are truly missed in these H-town steets and world wide. Lil Pat,Tahji,Koran its up to yall now, and to the family they not gone they moved to a better place and god is with yall all the way. Mrs Hawkins keep your head up, your doing a good job and god will answer that prayer that will bring our wordering to an end.
