Is GMAIL Racist????

OK So I know that Gmail scans emails and puts "appropriate" ads up to correspond with the emails. For example when I email Paul Wall I get a Grills By Paul Wall ad or some shit. When I write to Cham I get CHAMILLIONAIRE RINGTONES.

But today I had a couple emails go back and forth with UGK's agent and this ad was next to it:

"Nigga
Great deals on Nigga
Shop on eBay and Save!
www.eBay.com"

No one dropped an N-BOMB anywhere in that email, but for some reason this really stupid ad came up. ?!?!?!? Seriously, Gmail need to check themselves.

Is that a joke? I actually found it to be quite offensive. Great deals on Nigga? I'm afraid to click the link but fuck it lemme do this...

It went to ebay and gave me this:

Nigga Deep - Brotha Lynch Hung & Sicx (CD 1998)
Feedback: 4 | 100% Location: Rhode Island

Prince New Power Generation Gold Nigga CD NPG OOP M S
Feedback: 8773 | 99.6% Location: Maryland

DAZ DILLINGER / DAT NIGGA DAZ records LOT 5x12"
Feedback: 4348 | 98.4% Location: New York

RUFF RYDERS - JAY-Z - JIGGA MY NIGGA
Feedback: 2671 | 99.3% Location: Michigan

Plus like 59 more cd's to buy.

Does GMAIL secretly search ads for "Nigga" when Bun B and/or UGK is mentioned in an email? Cuz that's all it could be.

I'm not sure if G mail is racist as much as it probably (inappropriately) groups things of a seemingly similar subject. I went back to through my emails to see if any questionable subject matter would merit a similar response. Unfortunately, I didn't have anyhting that might insinuate the use of the N word which I guess would be something related to rap music or subjects where that word is totally acceptable. Moreso, I think that people may over look that because the word has become so commonplace that it would be like the phrase "big booty hoes" or "phat beats" or some other generic term, which is what nigga has become, a word associated with a brand, a lifestyle, rather than something offensive, which it is, I don't know, it's like when Perisa went on that nigga rant on The White Rapper show, it's like she never thought the word nigga would be offensive, it's like a byproduct of a lifestyle, like saying homeboy or some shit, once again, I don't know...

class action will get you $1.37.

If 'nigga' weren't so prevalent in hip hop music, we wouldn't have this 'issue'.

If UGK had never used 'nigga' in a song, there would be beef with GMail, but if their job is to pull words from emails and make associations to tags in products, then i guess it's not their fault UGK has a strong association with the word.

I got this ad today during an exchange that didn't even have anything to do with UKG, Bun B or rap. We were talking about houston indie bands. Crazy.

once againg pusherman you have caught corporate america trying to capitalize on the underground music movement. if not for your watchful eye this would have continued to go unnoticed. everytime i look at a gmail email i wonder how in the hell they have the right to read my email and decide what they want to post for sale. the bigger issue is invasion of privacy, if they can scan your email for keywords what else are they doing. who are copies being forwarded to and what type information is really being maintained on all of us. big brother is not only watching he is brainwashing and stereotyping all of us. your personal thoughts and opinions do not belong to you, they are to be shaped and molded at the discrection of the goverment machine. pusherman if you keep enlightening people the maching will move against you!!!!!

I see the same thing in Gmail and on Myspace. On my homepage it has the same referencing the N word and link takes you to ebay.com. Sounds like a lawsuit

It's also searching related information about the artists and comparing the word "nigga" as some of their song titles. It returned an advertisement for whateever the word "nigga" found in an Ebay search(the ebay search ad being the random ad to pop up at this time). It coincidently learned the most common word to compare the artists/topics. So please don't get ass-hurt over it. Don't just jump to conclusions. I'm not racist at all and I find this hilarious. So does my black friend sitting right next to me.
