Grit Boys FRESH Video Shoot Last Night

Man it went down. (I tend to say that a lot, but I mean, it been goin' down). Grit Boys filmed their first official video last night for the "Fresh" remix featuring Trae and Tum Tum. Everybody was in the house except the haters, as evidenced by the photos below. Seriously, I'ma keep screaming it till it comes out and you all stand up in agreement, but the Grit Boys album, Ghetto Reality in Texas is amazing.

That being said, WTF was XXL talking about in their "What's the Problem With Houston?" Article. I might talk about this more in depth in a future post, but I might also leave it alone because I don't give a fuck what a magazine writer has to say about much of anything.

Last month they had Grit Boys in the book, a couple months back they had Rob G. These are two of the freshest voices in hip-hop and they come from Houston. Y'all already done seen and heard them obviously and there's way more where they came from. Thanks for having them in Show and Prove but, this new article and TAG LINE ON THE COVER was just out of hand. Why not stop focusing on the same three motherfuckers everytime you talk about Houston and help keep this shit alive instead of attacking it?

Yeah, I really needed the Mike Jones perspective on Houston Hip Hop. I like Mike Jones, but he's an artist, as are Paul and Slim. He's got his own views on the subject that may or may not be proper.

Houston hasn't fallen off. We didn't need MTV and BET then and we don't need it now. I mean, maybe we do, people are making videos and such... and THAT my friends is what this post is about. Lets get to it.

So you havent heard Grit Boys is what you are saying? I sure as fuck woudl not compare them to Shop BOys or The Pack. Are you saying that because there arent many actual groups left in hip hop so you cant think of anyoen else to compare them to? You are relaly out of line with that shit, these boys are extremely talented and actually have some things to say. They dont make trendy songs.

And Sparkdawg grinds hard and makes good music, so why the fuck do you give a shit what he is wearing?
