Man this weeks show I have on cassette backup but lik ehappens sometimes as I tried to save the recording on the station computer, we got the message that there was no room to save it and I had no way to save the fucker so we lost it. You didn't miss much man. I was all sober and annoyed and yelling at people for talking over me cuz I didn't have any sedatives in me and like shit man, it was a mess. Naw, it wasn't that bad, but it was bad enough. I NEED AN ARCHIVIST. I need a kid here in Houston who knows what he/she is doing and can take the audio signal from a good sounding stereo that gets KPFT in crystal clear and can run it into a computer and record it like that. Recording the audio stream from the net sounds like shit, but taking the audio directly from a radio generally sounds good as long as you get a good signal.
So if anyone center city or northside I guess where the signal is the strongest, shit its actually way stronger on the northside, can do this for me, I'll um, shout you out, give you mixtapes, I don't know. We have no money for this, but suffice it to say we need an archivist cuz we can't rely on the KPFT computer and they can't give me an audio signal that I could just plug into my laptop in the studio. For some reason that's way too 2025 for them. ;) I don't know but I hate not having the show recorded digitally. Lemme know what you can do.
